READ THIS FIRST!!!

Berthoud High School students made a tutorial for the Plan of Procedure for the Magic Bottle Holder. The wood is harvested Pine Beetle kill from the local forest.
All of the students in Construction 1 are beginning wood workers and have had two weeks to work on this project. This includes learning about Plan of Procedure, storyboards, Flip digital video camera use, digital video editing and uploading. All of this combines to make for rich experiential learning.

STUDENTS: 4" safety margin!! Plan this out do not waste time. Use a large wood clamp to hold the wood piece so it does not move.

Some of the wood is culled lumber, Pine Beetle kill, or can come from deconstructed structures in the local area by the National Center for Craftsmanship. The students learn about how to do wood working sustainably.

STUDENTS: Make sure you plan out your measurements ahead of time!! Use a forstner bit. Clamp wood down on drill press.
