I met Lou before he was in a band. I was in NYC and went up to Boston to meet a friend, and she introduced me to her "punk" neighbor. He was married then to his H.S. teacher, and they had a kid. This is like 1978 or something. Later I moved to Boston, and Lou was getting his band together, unfortunately, we didn't hang much, but did enjoy running into one another.

Loved Lou and the Kozmetix. Used to head to the Living Room in Providence to see them when they came to town. Did they ever do a vid of Voodoo Bride?

I went to high school with Lou in the 70's. He was a real nice guy.

Looking for Providence based bands at Spit, metro or anywhere on video from 1978-1983

The fact that there's not a reissue of his records is a clear proof of how tasteless the music industry is nowadays...

Lou was my favorite Boston act back in the day. I saw him a bunch of times, usually at the Channel. Sadly there is little info about Lou and the band on the internet. I was thrilled when I found a link to this clip a couple months ago while reading through a message board about the Boston music scene. I would give anything to see/hear more of his stuff again. 'Dance with Death' is one of my all time favorite songs, though I probably haven't heard it in 20 years. Yeah, he is missed.
