  • Very interesting. Do you, by chance, study Toyama Ryu?

A couple of time you seemed to have lost your focus and your technique suffered immediately because of it. A hard lesson for all of us to learn. Thank you for leaving that in the video.

I'm not sure which of the two swords you used first (the white one), but it seemed to me that it's not quite as sharp as the second sword. Perhaps a polish is in order.

    Take care,

    Osu

  • @fastedge ed, nope. never studied Toyama. taught myself what i do. whatever you saw wasnt a dull blade. just my skill. it wasonly my 2nd time or so cutting.

  • first time? somehow, i am left doubting this was your very first time. if it really was, well, i'm very impressed. what i admire more, is not only do you cut well, but you use all other techniques necessary. (wiping the blade, sheathing the blade) it shows respect and honor on your part. that my friend, is something to cherish.

  • @lennybruce8 what are these mistakes? (so i can learn)

  • wow your forms not bad for your first time, and your self taught? thats not bad at all keep up the training.

  • Lenny! Could you post a full comparison of the two blades you used here? I'm looking into buying the Thaitsuki Nihonto Sokueto and was wondering how it compares to the Chen blade.

  • @lennybruce8 Alway a good choice filming cut and such. It help a lot later on. And your channel is superp.

  • Would you say this is a better sword compared to the Tiger elite katana, taking into account the cutting power, balance, maneouvrability and durability? because the tiger elite katana is a bit more expensive than the Tori XL so i thought i would ask :P
