  • Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes ;)

  • couldn't help it, I love the movies and the soundtrack even more..

  • Beautiful pipes and a lovely presentation! That knife look very special. I know many pipe carvers also make knifes, is this the case with this one?

    Thanks for sharing!

    Mike

  • Mike it's a Sgian Dubh, a Scottish knife worn in your long sock, sadly it's fake deer antler, the one at the back is a handmade Sgian Dubh (meaning Black Knife), these where usually made from bog oak (morta) or deer antler, long and short sword would be left outside the house, the dubh would kept to eat with or protect yourself.

  • Wow! Thanks Dub, one learns something new every day. I think I also got a clue to your YT-name. :-)

  • ....correct...Dublin mean Black Pool in gaelic (Dubh Lin). Bog oak looks black, I would love to own a Paolo Becker bog oak pipe, he's just begun working with the material.

  • Nice work!

  • It's a Sgian Dubh by the look of it. A very nice looking one too. The handle's probably red deer antler with an amber insert. I think the 1st Bari looks amazing.

  • its a knife. take a close look. stag handle gem insert spear point blade. its a sexy knife. lol

  • I love the second pipe, the dr. mills. and beautiful knife btw!

  • Thats some great looking lumber Dan. Do you own any Charatans? I am a Charatan man I love those things

  • Very nice collection sir. Thanks for sharing, and good choice of music.

  • Do you have any plans on doing a vid on removing finishes? My first pipe was a Peterson's 306 dry system w/ an ebony finish. It started to "bubble" in a couple of little spots. I guess I was puffing too hard or something. Anyway i'ld like to remove the finish if that's possible. I would like to hear your thoughts on it.

  • What is the thing at the bottom? It looks like a pipe but has a gem on it? Incredible production values.

  • a man of fine taste indeed,,congrats for these artistic addition my dear friend

    cheers

    ahmad
