The discussion here is what "could" happen. The discussion Thor and Beck had was about what if. What's a worst case... I looked up the stuff on Kerry and O'Bama and what Thor said is true. They are worried about the nukes there. Kerry also blasted Rice in her confirmation hearings about the Bush administration having no plan to guard the nukes in case of a coup.

Pakistan is not on top of radicals. Their policy of sending terrorist abroad and controlling them locally has boomeranged. Military leaderships in past have radicalised the society to counter democracy, and now if they have to fight radicals, then they are fighting against their own people. These problem has all sign of classic civil war.

England is not sending terrorists abroad, so there is no lesson to be learned here for them.

Jihadis in Pakistan are not strong enough to take over YET. In case of overthrown of Musharraf, some other General will take over, as per the long Pakistani Army tradition. US has some plan ready to capture these nukes in case of some eventuality as per Condi Rice in her testimony to Senate Foreign Affair Commitee meeting early this year.

Musharraf and Pakistan are reaping what they tried to sow for others. They groomed terrorists to capture Red Fort, but instead they captured Red Mosque. Because of their own policies Pakistan has become the largest genepool of Jihadis and they have now starting killing their own. What goes around comes around. You can not eradicate terrorism from your own country when at the same time you are raising them to goto other countries.
