I attached a clip of the Board - Patty Sabates, new president - Blaire Lapides - Paula Gigliotti - Norma Aker - Ken Aker, ex - president - Patsy Cates - Gina Kampf at Omega Villas Condo Assoc. in Plantation, FL.
I obtained copies of the contracts, accounts payable, and other records from Omega Records. I found that the aforementioned Board along with All Florida Management Services, Inc. owned by Joel Gould & Shai Gould had hired contractors to make repairs that were not properly licensed and were relatives of the management company. Gould Roofing - owner Wilbur Gould - Joel Gould's father was hired to make some repairs that required a General Contractors license. He made those repairs without pulling legal permits and such. The City of Plantation became aware and issued citations because of this. I received two on my home. I have current damages because of what Gould Roofing repaired on my home.
All of the aforementioned statements can be found at www.myspace.com/omegavillas!
So I ask what will have to be done to rectify the damages to our community caused by this Board and Management Company - Legislative Intervention - Help Me Howard or another Media Source - pay and have an attorney take this to court?
In the meantime my unit has mold and mildew and is a hazzard to my health for breathing this. Not to mention how unsightly this damage is. So, why should I who pays over $300 per month in association fees for them to correct this damage - suffer because of their negligence? What is right, ethical, legal about this? This string will spread to every legislative body - attorney - or media source until this is rectified.
Yes, you can legally remove the management company by written vote. See the Florida Statutes for more details!
