@theirishfront12 I really want to know this as well! Im thinking of getting one. I have Traktor Scratch Pro 2/Audio10/& Kontrol X1. I get confused with the midi/audio thing. Im a bit worried if the midi-mapping doesn't work out how id like it, the Mixer doesn't have any Send/Return Channels!

Is it possible to use the DDM4000 as a soundcard?
-
@sebaremin you can do whatever you want with the DDM4000, and yes you need a NI soundcard to interpret the timecode signal
-
@sebaremin yes you can, nearly every button knob and fader on ddm is midi assignable, and yes you would, of the native instruments variety
-
Can you set loops with the ddm 4000 on traktor? and also will i need an external soundcard to use it with timecode vinyls?
-
can you use just the mixer with traktor or any other software?
-
@ryan45454 I am also trying to set up my ddm so I have two channels for playing normal vinyl and two channels for use with traktor. I'm not having much luck. Were you able to get it working? Did you have to buy an external traktor audio soundcard? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

can you use the effects in traktor pro as well as the effects on the mixer?
-
@joangelosa you still need a native instruments audio 8 dj soundcard (or better) in order for your computer to interpret the timecode signal. you can pick them up off ebay for about £100
What turntables are those?

How did you connect this to control Traktor? Separate audio interfase? Which one?

@MetechStudios949 the mixer is connected via MIDI to the Audio 8 DJ soundcard that comes with scratch pro when you buy it
