@tkdrumr I believe any torque wrench, except for the old-school beam type, needs regular calibration (I believe most shops recommend yearly calibration). I assume these guys use a load cell attached to a torsion bar, which should be pretty darn accurate... but... the way I think about it, is it worth saving the $25 to have it calibrated just so I end up snapping an exhaust bolt or under-torquing a ball joint?

This just showed up in USA today. Ordered it a little while ago for $49.99 free shipping. Do these things ever need re-calibrating?

Hey There: It shouldn't need to be recalibrated unless it gets dropped or otherwise manhandled. BTW, where did you see it in USA Today?
