I was started today, when I had a conversation and hear a claim.. the claim is this:

"The book of Revelation describes the anti-Christ as someone with characteristics matching those of Barack Obama."

This claim is purely false, and shows the ignorance and illegitimate attacks on President-Elect Barack Obama at its finest.

Here is what he had to say:
According to the Book of Revelations the anti christ is a man in his 40s, of Muslim descent, who will deceive the nations with persuassive language, and ave a massive christ like appeal.. the prophecy says he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power he will destroy everything

the item quoted above, linking president-elect Barack Obama with the anti-christ is more of the same type of degenerative fiction. According to the Book of Revelation does not provide a list for identifying the appearence of an anti-christ. In fact, in never uses the term anti christ nor describes such a figure. Chapter 13 merely recounts the appearance of the beasts. who are depicted in animilistic terms.

The term anti christ is mentioned several times in the first and second letters of John, but none of those passages specifically describes or identifies the anti christ figure (other then being a denier of christ)
Ironically, Obama is a christian.

Nothing in the Bible describes the anti christ as a man, in his 40s of muslim decent. Furthermore, the book of revelation was written some 400 years before the Islamic religion was established. Therefor making it illogical to make such claims. and even if that were to be false... Barack Obama has absolutly no muslim heritage, his father was from Kenya.

Obama's influence is not strong enough to be the Antichrist. He is also not of malay descent, like the Bible said the Antichrist would be. He did not come our from ten kingdoms and barely cared about Israel don't you think?
