I don't know why we're so pissed at Don Cherry. He's right. We played half assed in the first 2 games, had Louie rocking the house and still won. We can't take criticism? We played average in this series, were down 2 or 3 key guys, and still swept the series. Call me an idiot, but I'm least afraid of Detroit. Osgood is a sieve, and we've beaten them before this year. The last thing we need is a C+ or a B- team in the second round after 10 days off.

I hope they win the cup this year, we really deserve it, even though EVERY team says that i think Vancouver should, because all the players try there hardest each game, and they should also win the cup for LUC BOURDON.

They are now because Jimmy Patterson and Save on Foods stepped up to sponsor it.

Originally CBC decided due to layoffs they could not justify spending extra $ for HD in St. L due to travel exp. the cost of the truck (there are 2 CBC trucks who do HD, the other in Mont/Tor), and other stuff.

People like TEAM 1040 made a stink about it and Save On helped out.

The main reaosn people tune into CBC is cuz of HNIC. With stuff like this and losing the theme song..no wonder they are struggling.
