So great to hear these two together again! I tried to post earlier, but for some reason, it didn't show up.
But from the first time I heard their music over WMAL-FM in Bethesda, MD, I was hooked. I believe the DJ was "Chad Periwinkle" (Will Luthge or something like that was his real name). Just made my time as a young AIr Force guy go by so much more nicely. I even wrote a review of them for Woodwind magazine (Mike Schreibman's weekly). I'd love to see these two record another album!
What a thrill to see these two gents back together even if just for a brief time. Bardorf & Rodney were one of the unsung hero groups that made the early '70s such an interesting time, musically. From the very first time I heard this song and "Poor Man's Dream" coming out of the speakers of my stereo, played on WMAL FM, I was a fan. I believe the DJ was named Chad Periwinkle (Real name, Will Luthge or something like that). Good days, Good memories.
