Dan Orlovsky made his first career NFL start on October 12, 2008, in a 12-10 Lions loss against the Minnesota Vikings. He completed 12 of 21 passes for 150 yards, with one touchdown and no turnovers. However, he inadvertently ran out of the back of his own end zone for a safety early in the first quarter, in what turned out to be the margin of victory.

  • mutha fukin dan orlovsky

  • this was en route to an 0-16 season!

  • @ksengage014 ESPN and the NFL both credited Allen with the Safety.

  • Meh. If he had managed to finagle his way out of that, best case scenario would have been going into OT and MAYBE scoring first. Either way he is faulted for the loss, however, it was the whole team's fault.

  • I too would run away from Jared Allen. And he almost did beat the Pats

  • jim rome? hahaha

  • Jared Allen put the fear in him, might have ran to the snack bar if he could have.
