Groups and components have always had qualities or attributes associated with them. They have a position, they have size in three dimensions, there is a rotation value, a material and so forth... If you use sketchUp prior to version 7, you have been editing and working with these attributes, just visually. With SketchUp 7 Pro, you now have the ability to edit and work with these attributes in a table. Your attribute values can be simply adjusted with numbers, or you can use formulas to make your components dynamic.
