Could not find this version so post it here. A touch of island flavour version by Kapena. Enjoy with the added lyrics!

Blue Darling

I was a fool broke every rule blue darling
Saw the tears that took the place of your sweet smile
My heart will break if ever I should lose you
Blue darling you're the one and only one

Ch/ So please please forgive me
I'm sorry for the wrong that I have done
My heart will break if ever I should lose you
Blue darling you're the one and only one

I'll be leaving on account of you
So please don't ever think of me
We used to love together with you
So please don't ever think of me

When someone be kind and make you happy all the time
Your love for me has faded away
Although my heart is aching me
Be happy and never think of me

  • Does anyone have the Maori version by the Maori Volcanics of the 1960s to post it...heard it once on the radio and I loved it!

  • Hahaha! Yeah...I think both versions are evidence of Pacific talent in remaking an old song in unique forms....solely of Pacific styles, hey? So proud of being a Pacific Islander....I also like the Maori version by the Volcanics of 60s (heard it on the radio, Prince Tui Teka was in the band too. Hope someone will post it as it has Maori lyrics too. Peace to all!

  • BDW the name of the Samoan Five Star's version is "Faamagalo", on my site's favourites posted by Alofatunoaomatua. Happy listening!

  • Hahaha! Yeah, almost as good as the Samoan Five Star's version hey? Please check out the Five Star's version on Alofatumoaomatua's (above) site for this version, also located in my favourites. Thanks!

  • Where is The Version Of Blue Darling By Tony Lindsay....The man who wrote this song...the man who's version was the One and Only Classic played on the radio and also on everyone's lips...back in the day.

The song that Tony wrote for his mom....40 yrs ago it was everywhere, today a lot of people don't even know who Tony Lindsay....that is ironic and leaves a hole in the history of Hawaiian Music.

  • When in deep trouble with your other half, sometimes there's nothing in the world you can do or say to relay just how sorry you are and how bad you feel that you did whatever it is you did. You just put on this track and let it do the business that it do. Of course it won't hurt if you shed a tear or two and in the middle of the song maybe look very pathetically idiotically sad if only for a verse or so lol.

  • Luv dis one!!

  • ia malo lava from cali le fa'a fiafia... ia malo lava evaga o le aso.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • wow! another Parting or Goodbye song for lovers...too sad, heartbreaking though.
