  • @taweraster Get your facts straight first, rugby league scrums are contested and always have been. In rugby league they don't like to waste time with the "crouch, touch, pause, engage".. scrum collapses do it all over again rubbish. Rugby League is about keeping the ball in play. Not many players could make the switch from RU to RL these days but an RL convert Chirs Ashton is leading try scorer in the Guinness Premiership.... and he wasn't even that good at rugby league.

  • I can't respect union because it's shit though. I give it a chance and watch it, and it always disappoints me. I'd rather respect AIDS, no offence.

  • league is awsome union is awsome respect then both for what they are !!! great athletes in both ! your telling me prime rupeni caucau or rokoko wouldnt be a success in league ? or that sam tompkins or radlinski wouldNT be successful in union ? both would be ! For the forwards in union its a skill to scrumage, ruck and maul well it shouldnt be disrespected.

  • @wiganwar fact is, it is primarily thought that rugby league is easier the rugby union, there are no rucks, less mauls and players like Ashton take a step up,not down. However,as far as your point goes at scrums, rugby union are about as contested nowadays, just watch how "straight" the union scrums go. Also Ashton was a very good league player, as was Robinson so he took his game to the next level, why go backwards?

  • @wiganwar Agreed they are contested but it's basically fed through the legs of the loose forward , very difficult to get turned over.

  • How far did Radlinski slide in that tackle right at the start....lol

  • @no1wiganrlfan he looks like a cunt to get hold of

  • @nicknj80 I disagree mate, league is nowhere near as successful around the world as Union has become, it's been a poorly managed sport in terms of development aswell

  • Some league players move but only because union is better run and pays more. The general consensus amongst cross code players is that league is better.

Union has hardly got the cream of league in Ashton and hape. Hape was injury prone but a good solid league player whilst Ashton couldn't get a game as Wigan had better kids.

  • @georgebush0 are you serious? peope quit rugby league and move to union coz it's too fast for them. i love union dont get me wrong but you have to be retarded to think union is faster

  • @wiganwar and you would swear that there are tons of rugby league guys that actually made it in union... legue is shit
