This is a timed test to see how long a single cylinder engine will run on 20 lbs of Hydrogen produced from a simple tube type electrolyzer. Oil is injected with the Hydrogen for lubrication. I have another video of it running a lot faster. I also have a video of it cutting wood. You will have to email me for that one.

  • I like to leave comments like yours up so others with a small amount of education can see what the real problem running on hydrogen is.

  • i hope you oiled the piston thats a 2 stroke buddy

  • @diesel4life7410 Yep, I use a valve with a syphon for oil and the chainsaw still runs fine after all of these years. I have ran tons of hydrogen through it. But these videos were taken long before I posted them on youtube. I have it written in the comments that I have an oiling system.

  • You are right. It is not always sunny. I cannot wait to hear what you are doing. I hope it is much better. I mean that sincerely.

  • if it will run the car it will run an electric generator for your home

  • @decycle1 This is true, but personally I would still have to say that solar and running items which use less electricity is more efficient. I would also have to say the reason is, because more money has been poured into Solar technology than hydrogen. Eventually that will change.

  • @JackTerminator Yes, look at the BMW car. It is over $120K and only a few people in the world can afford to even drive it. This is far from our goal. We are working on making it affordable for everybody and having the capability to fill up from home. I think a $10K car is too much money, especially if it gets less than 35 mpg.

  • @hydrogenauto are you stupid hydrogen is what in fuel like petrol /diesel. water contain 66% hydrogen what you doing is splitting hydrogen from oxygen contracted with carbon

  • @hydrogenauto pssshh we have more efficient ways of generating electricity... but yet ... they won't be used

  • Man, the chain saw and the bare feet give me the creeps.....

  • @hydrogenauto ofcours its running fine after all these years its a STIHL lol but awesome idea tho
