The artists that created the "Fallen Angel" video have a new website. They call themselves CocoBongo, and they even have a mirror of the original "making of" website at the link that I posted.

"Making of El Ángel de Campdevànol" includes photographs of the full makeup (including the wings) being applied, and even a director's cut of the film. Very cool!

The first thing you should notice is that the video doesn't show us the entire span of time from 0:37 to 1:15, as evidenced by its timestamp that jumps forward several times. Either the camera was being turned on and off, or else the video was edited down later.
It's probably safe to assume the latter because, out of the 38-minute period suggested by the timestamp, we only witness 60 seconds of it, which conveniently creates the videos succinct narrative of stumbling upon a fallen angel.
First, we see the group surveying the forest (0:51), and then crossing a foot bridge (0:58). A few minutes later, they discover a white feather (1:03), and then, after a few more traveling shots during which one of them swears he's been hearing noises (1:06-1:14), we bear witness to their climactic discovery of the creature (1:15). After a couple seconds of the necessary running and screaming, the video cuts off abruptly.
This clever editing suggests two things. 1) the group was relatively confident of the creature's identity (evidenced by the video's title and the inclusion of the feather scene in the final cut) and 2) the group wanted the narrative structure to be clear to their eventual audience (as evidenced by the scenes focusing on walking and talking). Arguably, the easiest way to ensure that their video would have both of these would be to stage the entire thing.
Of course, there's no solid evidence to support or reject this hypothesis, and so the video remains a mystery. But even if it is a hoax, it's still an excellent example of shaky-cam filmmaking that accomplishes an impressive amount of storytelling in only 60 seconds.

@junior420909 I posted this back in 2008, and the original website has been deleted.
A mirror of it, however, is still available, and I've added it to my video's description.

Read the description.
It's a hoax, and there was originally even a website that detailed how they created the makeup for the angel.
