Pulling shit out of a hole, not the best work, but I guess there are worse jobs. Though I'm sure Mike Rowe wouldn't mind.;)

Yeah. They shouldn't use corn. They should use Hemp, its much much much much better, environmentally, socially and in yield of methanol, biodiesel and so many bonuses like plastics, clothes, paper, food, medicine - HEMP HAS EVEN REDUCED CANCER TUMORS IN MEDICAL TRIALS for fork sake! ITS A MIRACLE PLANT and about time we got over Dupont's brainwashing and realized the potential of the Hemp Decorticator!

That is so unhygienic! All the filth they extract from deep in the sewer is piled onto the back of a truck where it is carried through the city exposed to the air.
Rboye is right...hydrovacs are available and should be used for this kind of work.

Hemp gives 10x corn yield 600gal/y/acre of 100% clean sustainable fuel, makes any kind of plastic, paper or clothing even linen and satinised silk-alikes, 3x strength wood fibre, 4x yield of wood, the first Model-T Ford panels stronger than steel made of hemp and RAN ON HEMP ETHANOL. Cannabis tincture has healed cancer in trials. There are THC free varieties. This truly is a miracle plant. Its time we took it seriously.

methanol will make corn more expencesive, this the beef will go up cause the farmers will spend more money on corn to feed there cattle.

they do that india, sadly

Its a global-elite petro-poison to limit you breed like rats conspiracy CRIME that we don't reward all the humans who have to work with SEWAGE by using the methane that comes off it FOR SUSTAINABLE FUEL. Methane burns REALLY CLEAN!
We could have stuck with canvas. canvas plant makes 4-10x the methanol corn does. It burns 100% clean and carbon-neutral (90% plant mass is carbon from air).

I thought they just sent some skinny kid down there.
That is not a sanitary sewer. It's a storm sewer. Did you notice the big wide opening on the curb were water can run off the road( near the very end of the video). The part the men were cleaning was a catch basin. Catch basins collected sand and dirt off the road so it does go down the pipes. If it was a sanitary sewer the stuff they were cleaning out would be sludge not sewage, and they would have put it in a sealed tank.
