  • It´s good airmanship to test the right magneto first and then the left. It is done that way to prevent you from leaving the key on the L when turnning from R to both before take off. It does happen.

    Also, carb heat must be tested but not during much time as that air isn´t filtered.

    Still, nice videos.

  • if you want to be a pilot just save up some money and study your materials. Save around 8,000 for your Private Pilot Licence. The more you study, the less money you spend because you wont have to meet with your instructor that often beyond the minimum flight time and ground school required by the FAA. So thats my advice to you before you even start, READ AND USE COMMON SENSE

  • Well if you actually know how to fly, and you know the procedure, and how it actually works, what they are saying is not that complicated, and it makes sense and is good to review for when you get in the cockpit... it also saves a hell of a lot of money to know this stuff because your engine is running and the hobbs meter is ticking. So you haters of this video (No I do not like expertvillage) should at least give it consideration that it does show some good things to people who need review.
