The video quality is not great, I could't get rid of the flickering and I moved too much, but the subject matter will be very interesting to fans of the Spyderco Native model. This display at the SFO features all variations of the Native design up to about 5 years ago (I think). My favorites are the Native Chief and the abalone inlay concept models. Too bad they never made it to production.

  • That Native Chief is SICK! You hould do more evolution vids. Great concept! =)

  • @grantman234533 I'd love to, but that would require more trips to the SFO in Colorado!

  • why wasnt there a OIF native there?

  • @kennyshen12398 That one was included in a display honoring the military.

  • nice!

do an evolution of the delica/endura

  • @GravemindLFX I can't, I don't have access to the various concept and prototypes that would be needed.

  • Very cool video. I like the native and everything down those lines in design.

    Great history you shared ...

  • @recon1s14 Haha, I know it's 8 months later, but I have to agree! (agree on what? You'll just have to re-check your comment to find out >:D)

  • WOW I love the look of that Native Cheif! That would be a buy anyday :D

  • @grantman234533 Amen to that. The Chief should be remade - it looks like a beast.

  • Oh my God. A 4" native is kickass.

  • This is quite interesting. I find it fitting and ironic that my first Spyderco was a Native, and a great choice I might add.

  • Nice video, though i go to the SFO quite often, i've never really taken the time to read everything. Thanks again Wouter!

  • Fineloverview of the evolution of this great knife, Thanks
