My choir sang this recently and we took it at a slower tempo, but I love this speed as well. Beautiful job!
-
excellent interpretation! =)

@m134e5 the speed is kind of fast, but the sops are suposed to be louder than the others, its all about the dawn and sun coming up and everything coming into the light. dont forget there's also 1st and 2nd sops in here so there's twice the voice in the song. i like it too. i'm singing it for my advanced choir. 2nd sop right here. its kind of funny, the 2nds are higher than the 1sts through the whole song.

Fantastic rendition. I love this piece.

Like it! Like this tempo too. It isn't "mache trieste". Conductor knows! :)

...non vedo l'ora di tornare a studiare domani!

Excellent...one of my favorite pieces. I think the sopranos are a little too loud, and the piece is a little fast- but not bad at all.

thanks for your comment! our conductor was really focused on doing it faster than it's normally done and i must say i see the delight in it, some parts become really interesting with this speed while others come better to their right in a slower pace. But it was a true joy singing it this way!
and the microphones at the live recording unfortunately picked up the sopranos a bit to much.
