E-VR

This project was done for a client (one of my teachers) who has been working on a movie concept for years... the project is a sci-fi futuristic Governmental PSA/commercial. The concept was based on the short commercial/campaign from the minority report where they explained the "precogs" and asked the audience to vote "yes".

Plot: a New drug called the E-VR (enhanced Virtual reality) is in existence. This drug is a Minute nanite (microrobotic machine) that is injected into the body. Once in your blood stream it travels throughout the body collecting the trace metals floating around and replicates/duplicates them into more nanites. Once the desired volume of nanites is achieved. they make their way to the axon Synapses of the brain.. Where they connect and transmit to the EVN (enhanced virtual network). This allows the user to connect to the "internet" and have a virtual reality experience within their own body.


This piece was designed to be set at the beginning of the movie to explain some back story to the audience what was/is happening in the world.

This project was a difficult one for me... communication was problematic through the project and I had to rush at the end to complete it on time. It did not turn out nearly as well as I had hoped. Large amounts of 3d in this project caused a great challenge to make things work and look good. After more then 100 hours of work though, I feel it is worthy of my portfolio. I hope you think so too.
