He's right, but not just for the Dead. Look at an old picture. When it was taken, it might have been a terrible day, but then you look back and think 'those were the days'. Or maybe the other way around. But perception in the moment, and then looking back, can be two entirely different things.

This is from a documentary? If so, which one and is it available somewhere? I've always loved to hear Jerry's perceptions, especially about music. Thanks.

It's from the Grateful Dead Movie.The one that depicts the bands "last shows" at Winterland, i n1974 (LOL !)
