Indie free festival 17 is a celebration of Autonomy, an experiment.... For seventeen years the Void Network gives all its forces for to make an open public experiment about the probability of the organisation of a big music festival without ticket, without wage, without private sponsors and security companies, without state sponsorship, without exploitative and merchandising relations, without any economic profit for the activists or the artists.
Indie Free Festival as also all other events of Void Network is based on the significances of mutual-help, "Social Gift" and Free Open Reclaiming of Public Space from thousands awaken Persons. It offers to the underground groups the direct occasion to present their work independent from the industry of the spectacle by bringing a message that goes much further than the cultural factory. Indie Free Festival is a squatting of the central park of Athens that constitutes a gathering of the Utopians, the Last Romantics, the Anarcho-Libertarians and all of them that seeks the exit from the sovereign ideologies of economic, cultural and political "reality".
