The more real sound and expression between acoustic instruments and musician interact but don't come with any real instruments patchs and are no findable, is just another powerful modeling synth, realistic my arse.

@TheRepublicOfJohn Nervous? More like overexcited. Since when does a salesman come into it anyway, you always do your own research and then buy?

I didn't impress by these v-synth possibilites and did not like these plastic and not natural pseudo- sax and violin.

This guy is a horrible salesman. He's so nervous. I would not buy a synth from him.

Japan.

These are really made in japan? I thought most of Roland's recent equipement is made in China. I do not want to pay 3K dollars for a poorly assembled instrument/machine. My XP80 is a bit outdated on some stuff, but it still holds up well. The thing has a metal shell housing and really is made in Japan, but it's 13 years old, so I don't even know if Roland still makes anything in Japan. Any idea where the current Fantom X and G series are made? I know the SH model is made in China.

And there really shouldn't be. If you want a sax or a violin, then just buy the real thing lol. =)
