7 seconds, damn it, mine's 31 seconds.

My comp has an intel core i3 @ 2.45ghz and 8gb ram. That thing boots in less than 5 seconds.
-
I got a 1.8 Ghz Dell D630 3 GB which does Windows XP SP3 in less than 5 seconds which is about the same as yours. Anyway my bios is about 3 or 4 times faster.. Making my computer somewhat near 10 seconds total boot so I got a much faster PC yeah.
Watch my channel for the proof:)

shit.

Only because you asked for comments ... this is a fast XP boot indeed, but the video cuts out before XP has fully loaded. The OS load is complete when all the services have started. BIOS routines complete at 0:11; my guess is that services would have completed loading at 0:25 (assuming a vanilla install), so probably 14 secs.

good pc!

maybe because it's just 64 GB, but its still really cheap
-
WTF, I think there must be a mistake.. I checked on shopbot and theres a Imation SSD 64GB for $37 Why is it so cheap?
-
lol i have 3 comps one vista, one mac os x, one win nt 4.0 workstation and nt boots in 5-6 secs, but i have to log in, which takes me 1 sec, because my pass is one symbol.

Evi1M4chine - Linux bios is one thing with reduced functionality, 10 seconds I can wait :)
All drivers for all devices, including graphics cards USB motherboard drivers were installed, basically under device manager all drivers loaded and perfect.

NWT09 - yes on a laptop, no problem, they have one for that. The Mac notebook we have several of those, all running XP. I have never seen any of my colleagues run Mac OS on those .... not once.
