@Gnosis2078 That's actually quite incorrect. You ought to study a bit before making statements like that.
The word "fear" in verse 12 is the word "phobos" which means - to flee from. Fear, terror, reverence, respect honor". In this passage though, the word would be best translated "intensively, in fear and trembling".

Mr. Piper is going was down the wrong road. The aramaic translation of the word we made fear is actually Awe... we are intended to stand in awe of God, NOT fear of God.
