This show-quality 1986 Chevy S-10 has been built with the right stuff! If you want a seriously fast truck that's a blast to drive and will walk just about anything on the street you need this S-10. First off, this truck is so much more than a junky S-10 with a 350 V8 dropped into it. Anybody can do that and there are plenty of those trucks out there. What impresses us about this one is how absolutely immaculate the truck is from bumper to bumper and how everything is brand new. The body of truck is super straight and the two tone blue/silver paint job is of very high quality. In fact, this little truck has a better paint job than some $35,000 muscle cars out there, we guarantee it. It's a beautiful metallic blue and we think it looks excellent with the silver stripe. It's also a brand new paint job so you will find no dents or scratches anywhere on this beauty.

So what makes this truck so fast? Try a professionally built 355 CI small block Chevy that's been made into a full roller motor thanks to a roller cam and rockers. This truck revs quick just like a dirt modified engine and puts a smile on your face every time you hit the go-pedal. The engine has been topped off with free-breathing aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads, an Edelbrock aluminum "Air Gap" intake, and an Edelbrock carburetor. Again, the engine compartment has been totally detailed and is really clean just like the rest of this truck. A built Turbo 350 transmission with a 3,000 stall shifts gears via a B&M floor shifter. Power is put to the ground through a bullet-proof Ford 9 Inch Posi that's housing 3.70 gears. This truck has been built to take any amount of abuse you want to throw at it. The nasty exhaust note is thanks to tubular headers and a brand new aluminized Flowmaster dual exhaust. The wheels measure 15 Inches and are by Weld Racing. The front tires are 165/R15s while the rears are Mickey Thompson ET Streets measuring 275/60/R15.

The interior of this truck has also been completely gone through and looks fantastic. Everything is new and clean. The seats have been reupholstered in beautiful black leather with a matching center console. The carpet is new as are the door panels. An Auto Meter tach measures engine RPMs while two Sun Pro gauges measure oil pressure and water temp. A Sony AM/FM CD player gives you some tunes whether you're sitting in the staging lanes or going down the highway. To answer some questions before they're even asked: Is this truck street legal? Yes. The truck has a DOT approved Drag Radial on the rear and all lights, wipers, etc are working. The current owner of the truck has it registered on the street and it has actually never been raced. Does the truck really have 198,000 miles on it? Yes. The truck itself had 198,000 miles on it before it was completely rebuilt. But keep in mind that EVERYTHING on the truck has been rebuilt including the entire drive train, the body work, the suspension, and even the interior. To us, the 198,000 on the odometer have become a moot point. At the end of the day this is a super-nice S-10 Pro Street and it would be absolutely impossible to build a truck like this for the price we're asking. The engine alone cost close to $10,000! • Pretty sick!

  • Where to start with this truck? I'll start with the good. Very well put together and nice paint job. The bad: first off after receiving truck noticed it had a starter problem upon further inspection cracked block on back bolt so upon removing and tearing down engine noticed cracked piston so MrKyleg you were right with what you heard and then block is not even a 350 as stated it is a 400. WOW!!! I have to say this ruined me from online purchases and from Street Side Classic. BEWARE!!!!!!!

  • a fella i know who used to work for me on restorations is building the same year s10 as a pro street truck cept his is a 396. motor has very low mileage. she had very little wear when i tore it down.
