"try not to laugh yourself to death" about the Blues Brothers band?!?! I am a musician and total audiophile and I can tell you, the Blues Brothers band is no laughing matter. The lineup in that band is re-dick! Matt Murphy, Duck Dunn, Steve Cropper.... all legends. I own the DVD just for the band scenes! :)

I saw this band in RI about 10 years ago. I had already seen them when they were having their success in the early '70s and their performance all those years later was excellent. The crowd was small, which was a disappointment to me, but the band performed as if they were in a full arena. Jim Peterik came running out into the audience, still performing and full of energy. GREAT concert! If you get the chance to see them, DO IT.
