This was an emergency situation low to the ground, in a jet that was on fire and has no ejection seat. I think the pilot did a pretty damn good job getting it back on the ground safely. It sounds like with all your extensive training in cherokees and tomahawks "NAVAMERICAN" if this ever happens to you while flying a jet in an airshow low to the ground that you will handle it flawlessly. I take comfort in knowing that

LMFAOO i thought he was going to get hit by that truck

Man, good job at pilotage. Incredibly lucky you didn't cartwheel when your left wing tip hit the ground. Could not have been done any differently with the same outcome.

haha Always With Me Always With You, Joe Satriani playing in the background xD

This particular casa never flew again. The reason you are confused is that there are 3 or 4 in the country that are all painted exactly like this one. Nobody fixes jets that are only worth 40,000 in the first place.

I showed it to a neighbour of mine that worked on the Hispano Aviacion plant with the electronics of the Saeta when was young. He dropped a tear and then smiled when i told him the plane was flying again...

Nice job. He didnt panic or anything.

Plane was not a total loss...Its flying again!

Poor Saeta Jet.
Why did you leap forward? What does that do?

The plane was moving a lot faster than you think when he jumped off. And when your plane is on fire and you just survived possible death, you will probably do anything to get off the plane.
