You are right. Kurt left a large amount of money to Frances. About 10 years ago Coutney had blew all of it and nearly bankrupted Kurts estate, in order to keep up her lifestyle Courtney then sold one fourth of Kurts music catalog for 50 milliondollars. She is a greedy media whore and has since spent all of the 50 million which is where wwe are at today, Frances getting a restraining order against Courtney. Now Kurts mom is Frances' legal guardian.

@TheRealAngusturtle No. A trust was set up for Frances that was given to her when she turned 18. What Courtney did with the money from the sale of the merchandise is anybody's guess.

@JimiHendrixLuver2 Um. No. Kurt didn't have time to change his will before he died... He meant to remove Courtney from his will but didn't which is why Courtney was able to sell a portion of the NIRVANA catalog. She still owns most of NIRVANA.
