@FLYYHITTS2010 Yeah, all that's true, BUT...the Bar-Kays are the same age as most of the guys in EWF. While the original and post-crash Bar-Kays were working down at Stax, the some of the guys who formed the classic EWF line-up were doing their thing behind Ramsey Lewis, Charles Wright, and with the New Birth. Of course, most musicians like myself know about the Bar-Kays blatant copycat tendencies. This is just one example.

Get it right Earth Wind and Fire sound like the Bar Kays at this point they damn near been in the game 20 yrs. Lets not forget they worked as Otis Reddings road band and house band from time to time at Stax.
