Here's a poorly shot and explained video showing my homemade underwater camera housing. I took several ideas from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0FT2Bmb8l8. Sorry about the irritating sound my camera makes here. It's been doing that a lot lately and I'm not sure why.   • I got it from a buddy who fixes pools and spas. Those stores have more options in that regard than hardware stores. I think it's a 4" ring (?). Make sure you lube the o ring so it doesn't bunch up when you tighten down on it. 

  • It's the auto-focus on the camera. Took me a while to figure that out. It's not a very high quality camera and it's been doing that since the lens on the first housing broke at about 30'. I put the camera in a bowl of dry rice for a week and it came back to life. I've since made the lens out of 1/4" lexon and turned the auto-focus off.

  • cool i made one too but i must ask do you only dive with yours or also make unmanned vids by lowering it in the water with a line nice concept though
