Information system security is a term for describing protection of information within systems. Networks are how computers communicate with each other. It's important to have network security to protect information as it's traveling from one computer to another. CISSP has 12 different categories of security. It deals with overall secuirty for information systems such as having security for operating systems, applications, hardware networks, secur policies, physical security, etc
Just had a class today on Sotware security. However, the basic points he mentions are things that are relevant even today. Good intro course that should be shown to everyone joining a company and gonna work on a computer system.
Judging from the computers in the video it's at least 10 years old (if not more). Funny how so many years later and we still discuss about the same issues.
