That big black dude at the end who grabs Jim by the arm saw exactly how Snell felt when he put his shoulder him. He looked to be ready to throw down if Snell wanted to push the situation!

A high school senior running a 53.9 last lap to defeat the reigning 800 and 1500m olympic champ and setting an American record in the process and only 1.7 seconds from a world record !!!!! Not to take anything away from Webb, but he would have to have beat El G that day and run about about a 3:45-3:46 mile for these performances to be equal.

My parents were spectators at his race - Dad's from Wichita (Ryan's hometown) and Mum was from New Zealand, so it was very symbolic for them both. What a great race this was, run by some wonderful athletes. Thank you for uploading this video :-)

@Vafareunculo Yeah seriously my #1 pet peeve in running is that nobody has any idea about last lap times. 50 secs my ass get a clue.
