Here's a video of a 1993 Caltrain audio file that I found while searching for videos of Caltrain in the 90's.

Also the SP style light packages are gone. They simply relocated the K5LA in the process removing 3 of the chimes. Ah K5LAs remind me of the Surfline but the Bay Areas my home.;)

@Amtrak6901 WELL AMTRAK HAS K5LA AND THEY USE K5LA AND metrolink used a train whistle like horn but is not loud in 1994 it was soo cute how it went toot toot :( gotta miss that horn AND HOW COME ONLY 2 PERSON POSTED METROLINK IN 1994 CAMERA AND CAMCORDER WAS INVENTED HELLO??

Yep, I even remember the mars lights on them, along with the K5LA horn.

Brings back memories. That's when trains had real horns. Not these new little mouse tweet horns. These new horns you can't even hear until the train is up on you. And they wonder why accidents are an all time high. Even the crossing bells are lowered in sound to nothing. These warning systems were put in place for a reason! Bring them back...

Awesome tribute! Wish Caltrain still had K5LAS.

Caltrain, Y U NO Have Real Horns?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Second to last one sounds kind of like those lousy short lived k2's they made from K5LA's.
