Very Nice, I have a pioneer, its a linear tracking and they are neat to play records on. The best thing is never touching the record or needle.

I love pioneer turntables, I have one it's an linear tracking and I got it for a very low price, did some minor repairs and she works like a charm now. Love how you can program it and it does the rest. Turntables still sound great as long as the record is clean, LOL thanks for the great video.

ouch, i've heard of automatic return turntables doing that before so it's most likely a common problem with a simple solution. i'm sure your local repair shop could fix it up nicely?

I have this one too but the automatic return is even worse, It will work but the tonearm won't lift up when returning so if I don't keep an eye on it when I play a vinyl it ends up scratching the damn thing! >:(

i have one of these but the automatic return function is a bit more messy, it moves faster and therefore bounces back out of the tonearm resting area and gets brought back at a slower speed. pretty weird but it's done that it's entire life...

Cool, I have that same TT and I like it. At first I couldn't get it to hold a steady speed, but it works great after replacing the caps and cleaning all the speed control pots. I just wish I could figure out why it starts skipping towards the end of some records.
Maxxarcade, Thanks for the suggestion about the speed control. I sent a PM -- Here are my thoughts on your TT trouble: It could be caused by several things: 1. Check the alignment of the Cartridge 2. Vertical Tracking force is too low 3. Anti-skate Setting too high 4. Tonearm movement is restricted by something -- grunge or the cabling 5. Tonearm bearing is worn Best, Stephanie
