Sr. Year...fall 04, Saxophone solo that i had been waiting for my entire high school career...there you have it.

Been playing since I was in the 7th grade...

so thats....about 10 years now? Ish...

Good job.  What kind of saxophone was that?

That was a YTS-62.

I wasn't using a Jazz set-up. It was a cheap yamaha 4c mpc, with a 3 and 1/2 reed Vandoren traditional.

But it still made a good sound.

I tried a Selmer C* once, but it made the sound too dark for a jazzy solo.

Same thing with a synthetic reed, Legere, shaved down too.

As a fellow Tenor Sax player, and someone who played that solo, I think you did an awesome job!

I had the solo in my marching band senior season back in 2004 and LOVED it! Was awesome to watch another person love playing it as well! Good job! =)
