This footage of the crows was taken around 5:50 a.m., on either February 10 or 11. I was approaching the building where I work, and walking along Still Creek Drive in Burnaby, B.C. The crows from all surrounding regions flock to this area to spend the night. Only in the Summer when they build nests do the crows remain overnight anywhere else. Their numbers are so numerous that there is not room enough in all of the remaining trees for them to roost, so they often will congregate upon the ground and doze. All building rooftops are lined with them. Many people find it distinctly eerie to pass here on foot.
