Song of the Lioness Cast

A fabulous series by one of my favorite authors. Alanna of Trebond and her brother, Thom, switch places so she can become a knight and he a sorcerer. The series follows Alanna's adventures while training and beyond.

This is a surprisingly good cast composition :) Most of them annoy me (general response: REALLY?!) although I did like one person (several peoples'?) ideal casting of Jason Isaacs as Roger. He was excellent as Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter, and Lucius is in some ways quite similar to Roger.

Carrey M and Rupert G were good choices for the twins, though they'd definitely have to make the former a little less clean-pretty.

@GeekChic080 Thank you! I tried to keep the actors as close to the character descriptions as possible. Hm... Jason Isaacs was definitely good in Harry Potter but to me, he isn't really the "classic handsome" in the way that I imagine Roger to be. And I agree with you about Carrey... but that's make-up. I just though she could pull off the boyish look pretty well :)

David Boreanez is a surprisingly good choice for Duke Roger! He's great at being charming and evil!

I agree with your cast choices, especially Thayet,

The only thing is, that Alanna and Thom are supposed to be identical, they'd have to be played by twins or the same person. Though they don't always go with the books anyway. I mean I'd be surprised if the twins even had violet eyes *contacts* let alone anything else. And their eye colour is a big thing for some of the characters as they notice the fact. But then they took away the green of Jean and Rogue's eyes in X-Men the movie ¬_¬
