Freeride de Tignes - Day 1, face inspection

The third stage of the Freeride World Tour 2009 will take place in the French resort of Tignes. The north face of Pramecou, at more than 3000m of altitude, has been chosen as the best spot for the competition. With over 40 cm of fresh snow this week and mild weather predicted for Sunday for the inspection, the competition should allow the worlds best riders to reveal their talent. After the stages in Sochi, Russia and Squaw Valley USA, the Nissan Freeride de Tignes is the only stage in France just before the grand finale: the Nissan Xtreme - Verbier scheduled March 21st. The first possible day for the contest is Tuesday, March 10th. The final decision will be taken by the organisers on event day d-2 at 6pm and communicated on www.nissanfreeridetignes.com
