I'll take the Synthetic Vision any day...Of course someone (Gulfstream) will one the Garmin but don't take it for granted. More than 50% of aircraft don't even have GPS.
Yeh, I always wondered what if it didn't pick something up. BMB815, Gulfstream's EVS does give you situational awareness. And you actually get to see what's out there, rather than see a computer rendition.

Well thats fine i guess if you dont mind dying because a pilot doesnt have good situational awareness.

Not as cool as what gulfstream has, but pretty sweet. I'd rather see what's actually outside, instead of a database.
