Income is the 2nd chapter of the Tales From The Credit Crunch film, an 18 month intergenerational film project made by Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire as part of the Generations Together programme. The project aimed to encourage volunteering and learning opportunities for all ages. It involved over 200 local participants who shared their experiences and views on the Credit Crunch and managing money which were captured on film by a volunteer film crew.
Over the course of 10 months and with the support of a local production company, volunteers undertook a variety of creative and technical roles within the project, developing and sharing skills.
The result is a film exploring the impact of the Credit Crunch upon Worcestershire's residents looking at how people of different ages have been affected by the latest recession. It explores different generational thoughts on financial issues with respondents answering in their own words. It tries to look at different view points on money management and is designed to encourage dialogue and contemplation on various topics besides offering an interesting snapshot of local people's lives which can be enjoyed by all ages.
