Is there some sort of way of having to kind of displays on the ipad so that when you watch films, you have the LCD display and when you're reading there's an E ink display? Is that technologically possible? If it is then the iPad is going to beat the kindle by a mile!

I like watching how people are vulnerable to Apple's marketing shit. How can't you understand - Kindle is a computer too! And yes, it's capable of almost EVERYTHING iPad is except 4 things: color, flash, GPS and accelerometer. Most of the things you can do online (thanks to free roaming 3G connection ipad doesn't have). And yes, you can jailbreak it too and get shell access. Stop being morons and realize the truth. Just like it was said: kindle is a bargain, ipad is a ripoff.
