Well, to connect the dots for these years old comments, Akira (PT's guitarist) is also the support guitarist to COTD.
Also, Narasaki (Vocals/lead of COTD) produced the Traumerei album, so he had a part in the making of this song.
PT and COTD are my two most favorite bands, by the way :D

@xzander Platform was on Träumerei which came out in 2002. C/O/T/D originally appeared on the 1999 Dog EP and was later on the 2000 full length album Come Over to the Deep End. I just found it cool how they sounded similar on the opening riff :)

@Seibikou If you talk about bands, Coaltar of the deepers is a '90's band, whilst PuraTori formed on '93, if you talk about songs C/O/T/D was released in 2000. I don't know when did platform was released though

the opening riff sounds like coaltar of the deepers C/O/T/D
I wonder who came first :p enough variation to make it their own though. the more I hear from this band the more I love them.
