es ist ein mehr oder weniger normales seemannslied, welches noch immer in der marinetradition eine rolle pflegt. der text gehörte für uns in der grundausbildung genauso zum repertoire wie dienstgrade und ähnliches!

Da werden Erinnerungen wach. Wie herrlich war es doch immer, aus dem Heimathafen Kiel aus- oder einzulaufen und dabei den Klängen des Marinemusikkorps Ostsee zu lauschen.
