I didn't say it was bad I said it was questionable. It depends on your table image, position, and other players, but you can either play middle pairs like that passively or aggressively. Although I myself am a passive player because I get scared easily, I'm sure many others, including pros, would prefer to raise in that spot.

@kingofcupcakes how is limping 99 on cash game is bad lol ? you mean limping 99 on a tournament would be bad cauz you cant afford to waste ur blinds just to hit a set or fold in a cash game it dosent matter

I personally find it extremely dangerous to do in a CASH game and in a limped 5handed pot. Even if he connects he doesn't know where he is. Even though if he connects 90% of the time he'll be good it's still an unnecessary risk

@kingofcupcakes i dont like howard lederer one bit, bit limping with AK on the button will pretty much tell your opponents "look, i dont have AK or anything of the kind", wich makes them have no idea what you have, wich can be good to induce a bluff from your opponent if an A or a K hits and you slowplay it
