The age of substantiated patriotism is over. The age of countries focused around principles is over. All that matters now is corporate business, the country you live in will always put the goals of few above the majority, they'll feed you promises of a shiny future and deliver as little as they can without causing a major turmoil. Yet, you still bring up your children with dedication to your country as the main focus, by the time they're adults it's as though they've been brainwashed.

You speak of defense of your home and pair it with invading another country as if it's the same thing. You speak of unnecessary wars and yet still persist to defend a cause that's entirely pointless. You tell me to grow up and look at the world while stating that whilst something is bad, it is also simultaneoussly not really so, simply because other countries do it. Please.

All of you who argue, why don't you take a second to read your own arguments, for you all contradict your own beliefs, follow your own moral examples and just stop. What's the point in arguing anyway? I'm sure you have better things to do. We're all brothers and sisters here. We all laugh, we all love, we all cry - Isn't that what matters?

Must we always build borders? Must we always distinguish "our" people? If only we could all join hands in eternal peace; if only all the people in this world, (whether Christian, whether Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, white, black, whatever) could just laugh together, if for only a few seconds and remember that, although we may sometimes forget, we all share this world - together.

Believe what you like. Just stop foisting your wrong-headed beliefs on others. The fact is that people are entitled to be p'ed off with what has been perpetrated against Iraq and Afghanistan, VERY p'ed off. If they have the patience and wisdom to reach out in a conciliatory fashion, as this song does, and as NDK has done, that's great. But if they are sick of being attacked and abused by people who support and encourage mass murder, then that anger is entirely understandable.

There's nothing "principled" about starting multiple wars of aggression.

"To hell with the rules" - That's united states foreign policy to a tee. Even if you know nothing of 9/11 truth, as you apparently don't, you should certainly have twigged to all those "Iraq has WMDs" lies which were used to justify Iraq's invasion and destruction. If they would lie so outrageously to start one war and murder innocents, you have to assume they would lie to you about anything.
