I love this game - this cheap little 200k video game. FANTASTIC. So just for fun - I video-taped a game and layed down some Aaron Copland as backup music. It's not going to win Cannes or anything, but I think it's fun! Missle Command Enthusiasts - Enjoy.

Jeez, this brings back memories. I remember the higher levels of this game being just ridiculous on the 2600. Missiles would be shooting everywhere like a wild lightning storm. I'm lucky playing this game at such a formative age didn't make me go insane. :)

in the arcade version the trick was to get to 810000.
It was 100 bonus cities at that point.

A very good player of the game...it's no easy feat to get that far in the game.

WOW im new to playing missile command and i dont think i will ever be that good.by the way, wats the glitch

Strangely enough, I was a crewchief on SAC B-52G bombers from 1984 - 1988. They were packin' heat (in the form of nuclear ALCMs), and we actually had a "Missile Command" game in our barracks. I probably pumped half my paycheck into that darn thing. Too fun!

The Copland music really compliments this video, I loved it. It reminds me of the music playing during any somewhat-serious 80s movie with a montage of someone doing something fascinating. What comes to mind is The Manhattan Project and the scene where the kid is making his atomic bomb. Again, great video. Thanks
