The consequences of the 9/11 attacks will undoubtedly be felt for years to come. And the tragedy has continued to affect ordinary Muslim Americans to this day as over the last 7 years they have been facing constant discrimination.

FUCK This reporting....our neighbor ahmed is from Bangladesh, started as a cabbie in Los Angeles, now he has 4 bedroom house in Newport Beach, ca and now owns 2 gas station and see how the muslim persians living in Mission Viejo,Laguna Niguel and Irvine,CA ! @thezinkcoo i have a very good muslim friend his name is jamal, he's a Saudi descent and was born here in the US. We go together along whenever our groups goes out--skiing, mountain climbing, datings,etc. and we face no issues at all, we even have 3 jewish friends who comes with us....

@1martinjom I'm not saying it's the same all over. But if you're Indian or Muslim you will notice people treating you differently. Just look at how Sikhs face discrmination just because they supposedly look like Muslims. The fact that Obama has Hussain used in his name constantly by republican/tea party types is proof of the Islamo phobia in the American mindset. I've lived in the US before 9/11 and can tell you that the US was a drastically different country before the attacks.

A middle name he shares with the last name of the notorious late former Iraqi dictator....And now that man named Barrack, who carries a middle name of "hussein" in now the Pres. of the USA! And his ethnicity is african who's skin is Black!

@hassanbigboss Ok i understand, you just want to let everyone know how to you this time is difficult on improving life with some other muslim americans! but what about some other succesfull Muslim Americans from the middle east or Southasia? have you ever thought about asking yourself how they became succesfull? Life is indeed a very difficult and tough journey--everything has to start from the scratch,when you want to achieved something big.

@hassanbigboss Well, USA is diverse--not all everyone are rich! If you look at the numbers,non-muslims has the highest rate that are under the status that can be consider as "poor"! Many Middle Eastern-Americans has lots of humble stories to tell, same with immigrants who came here in America--from different parts of the world..By their hardwork, they came up in the end as succesfull!
